This course is designed to build on the basic TORT course. It includes a more operational style of training and includes three full days and two nights spent out in the training/operational area. Operators will learn to stay out in the filed with minimum support chain and perform multiple operational tasks such as finding a suspect location, gathering target intelligence and planning a live fire assault. Team leaders will be encouraged to take command of large and multiple team tasks simultaneously as well as performing team filed briefings.
Any team leader, sniper, drug agent/officer, customs, border control or tactical team member who is tasked with operations and leading teams in rural or other open areas eligible to attend this course.
You must have attended the Basic TORT course as a pre-qualification to attending this course. You will stay out in the field TACTICALLY for 2 nights regardless of the weather conditions. On this course you will spend about 70 hours training in only 5 days.
This course is only eligible to current law enforcement and active duty military personnel.
